I had a family member get diagnosed with colon cancer in 2020. Dr. Rentz was their general surgeon to place a colostomy bag before chemo begun. When the family member went back to their postop appointment they told the doctor they weren’t feeling well, not only did he disregard their concerns and told them “I’m not a primary care doctor” he did not check the surgical site of the stoma. Dr Renz is very personable, he is very straight forward and his staff are amazing to work with. He is a great surgeon and I highly recommend him. He is a great choice as he works in St Vincent Hospital in Billings.
Dr. Rentz was one of two doctors to help save my life. He came in, saw how miserable I was, and immediately wanted to help. He took my pain seriously and operated right away. But his care didn't end there. Dr. Rentz has continued to follow up with me since my surgery and now in my management afterwards. It's amazing to have such a dedicated, kind and truly caring surgeon!
Dr Rentz is a wonderful doctor. He is thorough in explaining everything to you, giving you any options available and listens to you!! I trust him completely!
During a recent pain filled day, I had to good fortune to have Dr. Rentz be my surgeon. He was completely professional, showed extreme compassion, was thorough in his explanations, and knows his stuff. Dr. Rentz truly cares about his patients. His staff was amazing too!
