Dr. Hunt treated my husband in August of 2018. He performed an emergency EGD on him at a hospital in Tulsa. We found him to be extremely knowledgeable and competent. We couldn't have asked for a better doctor and we received the outcome we needed. We did not experience any contact with Dr. Hunt's office as we were already admitted to the hospital so the ratings associated with the office are shown as average.
I used Dr. Hunt previously, and he is the only gastroenterologist that I will use from now on. Him and his staff were extremely nice/knowledgable and went above and beyond with every issue/question I had. I would highly recommend him to anyone else.
Now has cancelled two appointments. First one (3 days prior), no reason. Okay, stuff happens. Second one was 3 days before procedure and is for a "training" requirement. Really, as a professional for over 30+ years I have always known advanced training requiements. Jeff, never mind.
Dr. Hunt is a very smart and kind physician with a nurse that is also very kind! The front office help is fine, but seems to be controlled by the office manager, who was totally rude to us!! We had a minor insurance change and we were informed her staff didn't have time to figure it out, and we were threaten more than once in the common waiting room, that if our bill didn't get paid we would be sued for the $$$, which we didn't owe them anything at all, very unprofessional and rude!
