Dr. Deckey is the best spine surgeon in Orange County. You are in excellent hands. It is normal to be apprehensive, but my operation solved 10 years of back pain. If he says surgery will help you, believe him and trust him and his staff! They are all great people. I am 100% happy with the procedure.
started my research I believe I found the best at his profession in Orange county as well as the surrounding counties. That was Dr. Jeffery Deckey. He & his staff opened me up 4 times in 5 years. twice in 2013 and twice in 2017. I feel if I had gone to any other surgeon I would most likely be dead. Praise is difficult for me but when it is truly disserved it comes easy. Jeff, I can't say enough. I feel I've come to know you, Dan and Dan's counterpart well and you are all good people. God Bless!
Excellent surgeon. Spine Specialist. Only performs surgeries if he feels he can provide a good outcome. Had surgery on lower spine last year with a great outcome now need to see him for my neck. Not excited about this but an excellent surgeon that I can highly recommend.

No stars. Worst professional experience EVER! My previous orthopaedist closed his practice, so I had do find another doctor to follow up on issues with my carpal tunnel and elbow surgery. To make a very long story short, this doctor refused to treat me because "he didn't;t like taking on other doctor's problems", even though my doctor is not around. Completely unprofessional behavior.
Arrived for my appointment to find he was not in and his staff didn't bother to call and tell me. They schedule me the next day. Everyone was doubled booked. It took 4 hours past my appointment to see me. He spent less than 2 minutes with me. His staff is inconsiderate of patients time. His office is chaotic and I can't imaging waiting to see him for HOURS after surgery. Maybe he is a good surgeon but how he runs his office is awful.
I have to wait for more that three hours each time I go there, only to see his assistant for five minute. I dont want to say Dr. Dickey is not a good doctor, simply he doesn't have time to see one more patient.
A caring and a great listening doctor. Office wait time is minimal. Extremely knowledgeable and he takes time to explain in details with no sense of rush. Highly recommendable.
The first time i had to wait 2 hours to see Deckey then he comes in and I only get 5 minutes with him. Second time, I waited 3 hours to see him then he leaves the office without seeing me & notifying me. He is unprofessional and incompetent. Go somewhere else.
