My partial knee replacement surgery by Dr. Shapiro required revision surgery due to an improperly positioned implant. About four months after surgery my knee was swelling and very painful. After two additional visits, Dr. Shapiro ordered both x-rays and an MRI and still failed to identify the cause. I located a new surgeon and upon the very first meeting my new surgeon took a simple x-ray and immediately observed incorrect positioning of the implant. I tore my ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Dr. Shapiro performed surgery on me and got me back to playing sports in no time.
Shocked to see negative reviews on here. I guess you can't please everyone. I was very impressed by the office, staff and Dr. Shapiro. He's a great guy and has me on my way to a speedy recovery after an ACL tear. Thank you Dr. Shapiro!!
Dr. Shapiro performed total knee replacement surgery on my right knee in late January. I am very satisfied with the results and my recovery has gone better than expected. Although face-to-face time with Dr. Shapiro is minimal, he is a highly skilled surgeon with a specialty in treating knees.
My entire experience with the staff at Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle was exceptional.
