After evaluation, he performed surgery to my lumbar spine. All I need to say is that he did a superb job...and WOW!
Awful experience. Dr. Hsu and his "nurse" seemed to be annoyed and have no time or compassion for the issue I'm experiencing. Test were set up after months of being in absolute awful pain. Several different reasons were given as to why it took so long, but I felt like they didn't believe me and forgot. Nurse was very rude over the phone as well when I would call to get a status update. Dr. Hogge is amazing - knowledgeable and friendly. Helping this old girl with arthritis keep walking with as little pain as possible. The only bad review here was for mask wearing and had nothing to do with his skill as a podiatrist... He has years of skill behind him in addition to boy scout curiosity and the thirst to learn new procedures and methods. Went to his office yesterday. NO ONE was wearing a mask. Requested he stay distant, he replied I don’t have Covid. Had to tell him he might still transmit it. I would think a physician would know the guidelines and practice them. Very disappointed.
I had surgery 2 years ago , 2 rods 10 pins, etc. for scoliosis. It was rough the first 3 months, then started to improve greatly. Now 2 years later I am pain free, walking normal. Very thankful to Dr. Hsu for caring for me through this and for a very nice staff.
I met Dr Hsu in 2005, in Wichita. I needed a 360 lumbar surgery. 2 date 3 sided ...6 bone fusions, 2 retracter plates @ 4 bolts. It was a big surgery. He changed my life. He fixed what was killing me. I feel great today. I think of him often, He is my hero and I want him to know...my goods days are many and words cannot thank him enough for the education, skill and compassion he gave me through all the work he did to my back. Dr. Hogge is efficient, caring, and works hard at answering one's questions.
He was very kind and helpful when I seen him a while back. I would go back again.
