Dr. Ackerman treated my broken leg following a auto accident. He was very knowledgeable, always explaining my injury progress and what was needed for a successful healing. Dr. Ackerman and his assistant Joy were caring and always providing me with the necessary documentation. I would recommend Dr. Ackerman to anyone needing a Orthopedic Surgeon.

Dr. Ackerman did a total hip replacement for me after treating me for several years with AVN. He has always been very knowledgeable, treated me with respect, and addressed my concerns with care. He is an excellent surgeon and answered all of my questions regarding the procedure. Recovery was a breeze and my life has definitely changed for the better thanks to Dr. Ackerman.

Dr. Ackerman is an excellent doctor...professional and kind. His medical knowledge is exceptional. He thoroughly explained the surgery (fractured patella), recovery process and timetable. This was my first surgery...I was scared. Dr. Ackerman answered every question and addressed every fear.

Had a right hip replacement. He explained everything that would happen with the surgery and the things that might go wrong. He made sure that I understood the time line for the healing process and how important the P.T. was and precautions that I must follow with wound care. Outcome was great.

his surgeon gets a big fat zero. I had to give one star or I would not be able to post this review. He is beyond arrogant, and utterly disconnected from patient centered care. He saw my Mom in the hospital, for a severe shoulder fracture. He told her that the ER should never have admitted her, to go home the next day, and come to his office 1 time per week for x-rays for 3 months. He behaved totally inappropriately during his 10 minute visit. If you ever come into contact with this doctor,

Dr. Ackerman did a total hip replacement and a second surgery for me last year. He has been an acceptional surgeon and doctor. Every step was well explained, and the follow up care has been outstanding.

Dr. Ackerman and the staff at IBJI are excellent. I can't recommend them enough. He was the surgeon for a tibia plateau fracture and I found him to be extremely thorough, he pays attention to details, answers all of my questions, and he's extremely meticulous. The staff at IBJI are also excellent. They are always engaging, funny, and really helpful. We even had a staff member show us how to change the bandages after the surgery. I highly recommend.

Dr Jeffrey Ackerman performed total right hip replacement June 2017. I have not written any reviews till now. My right hip is in excellent condition. I want with the more invasive hip replacement procedure. I wanted to hit that was gonna last the rest of my life. I highly recommend Dr Jeffrey Ackerman out of Illinois bone and joint clinic in Chicago.
