Brought in my senior kitty for some health issues and couldn’t have asked for more from Dr Sinclair and the staff at JVC. During the pandemic I was nervous about bringing my kitty somewhere, but was so pleased to see that the proper precautionary measures were being taken. This afternoon our dog Roger was attacked for the second time while in our yard by a dog being walked on Jefferson who was allowed to roam up to our fence which is over 17 feet from the sidewalk. He was torn up very badly, bleeding and in immediate need of medical attention. Jefferson Veterinary Center who we have supported for over 11 years with our 3 dogs refused to treat him because “we are all full with regularly scheduled appointments”. The care that we received from ALL the workers at Jefferson’s vet hospital saved King Sweetpea’s life. We found this kitty on the side of the road and he needed urgent medical care. Jefferson’s fixed his jaw, gave him a feeding tube during recovery, all the medicine he needed, and had frequent follow ups (even with the crazy COVID 19 going around). Very lucky to find a veterinary clinic that values its clients, offers good values and makes sure that my pet was fully taken care of. I have paid a lot more in the past for a lot less work. I was truly impressed with Dr. Schacht and his helpers who took care of the before consultation, made sure I understood what will happen, what had happened post-operative and how to continue to care for the pet after I returned home.
