Just leaving the apartment complex. The helpfulness of the staff (Michael) was very unexpected. I relocated to the area because of a job opportunity. It has taken me seven months to find a place with professional and pleasant staff. Michael has truly made my apartment search bearable. He responds to my emails in a timely manner. My review is specifically about Mike. My mom and I had so much drama moving around and getting everything set up and Mike was our go-to guy. He fixed everything and busted his butt doing it. He’s always there late, ready to help, ready to answer any question, he’s fixed problems that other people don’t know how to fix. Mike makes One Upland. I have lived in upland woods community for just a few months. Unfortunately I was forced to break my lease due to a broken relationship. The folks in the office were super nice and understanding. Especially Natalie who was both sympathetic and professional. She walked me through in detail what my options were and answered all my questions. My family was looking into relocating from CT to a slightly similar environment in MA, specifically Norwood-Dedham area, while the apartments looked quite good and welcoming, we were stopped at the leasing offices as a curly haired representative assumed and implied that we could not afford the apartments and blantly suggested we not waste hers or our time but go home and think things over.
