This is the worst experience I have ever had with behavior health. First, you would think if a patient is missing treatments they would call to see if they are having issues & the reason why. Second, they do not confirm appts the day before like all the other doctors do but yet when you say something to them about memory loss they say that’s part of the diagnosis but yet they want you to remember an appt when you have to schedule 3 months in advance. I've been in and out of the mental health path on getting the help I need for so many years. They truly have helped me and im grateful. I do recommend to come to this location. The staff gives you a polite attitude.
Dr. Dylan Payne is the absolute worst psychologist i’ve encountered in the 30 years i’ve been on this planet. Being honest and accountable with him has done nothing but cause medication issues and errors. he double books his appointments and cancels life sustaining medication with no tapers. refers you to the emergency room where he is resident psychiatrist, so he can charge your insurance for transport to another hospital, as well as he will not give you a definitive diagnosis even as an established patient.
Writing this because they need to get on the same page with Jefferson hospital. It is not a good time to have to get a psych evaluation in the emergency room, but it’s not a shameful thing and sometimes needs done. The counselor at the ER told me to call them, and almost sort of scoffed when I told her I couldn’t find somewhere to fit me in. I felt like she was assuming I wasn’t trying. The staff is not friendly and the nurses lack in compassion. I had never been to a practice that treats patients as poorly as what I experienced there.
