I cannot say how much I appreciate Jefferson’s Cancer Support and Welcome Center. From my first experience as a newly diagnosed breast cancer patient touring the 15th floor of the Honickman building to the day I rang the bell on the infusion floor - I have only had wonderful experiences with the staff and team there. The Center is a very comfortable and welcoming space to go if you are waiting for appointments or if you just need a quiet space to relax alone or with your caretaker. Very bias nice to relax tho but treats some patients very poorly.Felt discrimination there seems one of their employees has a terrible attitude upon our arrival, some what rude and very funny acting towards people of color ...everyone else is kind but it seems Angela has a issue with us when we come there. You would thin kindness would go a long way but there's no mercy on her behalf. Would love to talk to management. However its a nice place to relax for a while they do a lot for patients as well my Goal was to teach praise... read more
