My Chevy Sonic's check engine light came on, so my husband and I took it to Auto Zone to have the codes read. The code came up as a faulty thermostat. I immediately scheduled service at Jeff Wyler Chevy for what I thought was a simple warranty fix. My car was there overnight and my husband received a call the next day that the thermostat was indeed faulty, but that they had "found" something else!They informed us that a code had come up that the canister purge solenoid was also faulty. Took my corvette into the Chevy dealership for TRANSMISSION issues. It was there for over a week. Was told it was fixed. Went to pick it up and they gave me $600 bill cause they fixed a sensor on the SUSPENSION. Even after writing it down in writing so they'd understand what's going on. I still had to take the service manager for a ride. Left it there for another week. Was told it was fixed again. Went to pick it up. Nothing was changed.
