was worth the price – my wife an i landed at tampa airport 10-10-02 the traffic was bad since it was during rush hour , so on our way to relitives in lakeland we decided to wait out the traffic i happened to see charlies so we went there. we had never heard of it before but what a pleasant suprise. the steaks and every thing we had was great. great service too heather was a wonderful waitress. we'll tell all our friends back in st.louis about it.
"MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH GOOD" – CHARLEY'S IS GREAT, EVERYTIME I HAVE BEEN THERE THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. I CAN SAY IF YOU'RE A STEAK LIKE MYSELF YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED.
Simply amazing – How do you begin? From the moment you enter, you know Charley's is going to impress you. Starting with your own personal wine locker (to keep your fav vintage ready for you),to the lucious steaks, to dessert, Charley's knows how to treat you right.The steaks are large, juicy and flavored to perfection.Try the Au Gratin potatos,there's enough to share.And leave room for amazing desserts-they're all good! My favorite finish? A chocolate martini that can only be described as heavenly.
I'd go elsewhere – Overall good beef and wine list. Salads and appetizers were disappointing. Decor could stand to be modernized. In a town of many top steak houses, I'd rather spend the big bucks elsewhere.
Charley's – Good restraunt, though the food seems to be emi-inconsistent. I have had the best steaks and some not so great steaks there. The only bad experience was someone breaking into my vehicle while dining.
Charley's is no chicken of the sea! – Great steaks. Nice atmosphere. Huge, wonderful desserts. Enjoyable night out.
A 4 Star Dining Experience!! – You think you're going to dinner when in fact it's a true dining experience. The entrance is electric with the words CHARLEY'S in flames. Once inside the aroma of the food is heavenly. As you are seated the staff immediately make you feel your party is the only one in the place. The wine choices are exquisite, the steaks are fork tender, and the deserts are to die for. An all around dining event.
Fantastic Fillets – If you looking for great steaks in a fun atmosphere, Charley's is the place. Table service is always good, but it's more fun to eat at the bar.
Fantastic steak – I had the strip steakand it tasted as if it had been soaked in bacon. It was delicious. I will definitely be back soon
