Wife's graduation dinner – 7 Reasons to eat here: 1. I did not have to wait. 2. Professional staff. 3. Knowledgable servers. 4. Incredible food (try the gator appetizer and NY strip steak) 5. Nice beer and wine selection - they serve Boddingtons beer 6. Good, quality food 7. Great Value
Best Fillet Ever – Charley's has the best beef fillet I've ever tasted. The seating is jammed in similiar to Berns. I prefer Burn's overall based on ambiance, kitchen tour, wine cellar tour, and dessert room.
not worth the money – their steaks are goods, but they have no fresh garlic in kitchen, although they claim to make their garlic smashed potatoes with butter and garlic. a conversation with one of their managers revealed that side dish is a pre-fab, which they buy in packages.
Charleys – This is the best restaurant in town hands down. The bar is awesome and all the bartenders are very friendly. They also have a great fish tank in one of their main halls. And if you can swing it ask about their private rooms none better.
Good- different than Bern's – I went to Charley's for the first time and was very impressed by the steak. I know there are two camps of people in Tampa who argue between Charley's and Bern's being the best...I must say that I still think Bern's is the best overall. I did love my steak at Charley's but there are not as many options and everything is a la carte. The service was impecable but I suppose overall dining experience didn't quite measure up to Bern's. I would still highly recommend Charley's. Yum.
Great Food – I have taken many a client to Charley's and have never been disapointed. It is a great steak and a wonderful atmosphere. One of Tampa's top steaks!
Guest – This was the most wonderful meal I have ever ate. The service was great and everyone was graceous. I will always come to Charley's everytime I am in Tampa. Thank You for everything that you do. Your a 10 in my book.
One of the finest dining experiences I've ever had. Mortons, Shula's, Ruths Chriss, Berns are all good.....BUT.....Charleys is the best of them all!!
