This doctor saw my mother. He showed anger when we asked him questions, he is not interested in what the patient or the family is worried about. This is the first time we have seen a doctor not examine the patient. He avoids touch, contact with the patient. This is a man whose ego is insulted if the patient does not immediately say yes to surgery. We cannot put our trust in a doctor who is not interested in patients as human beings. Very rude, no empathy, no compasión, no time to guide, teach his patients . No time to hear patient concerns. Honestly, I need surgery stat but I requested for second opinion. My dauths grew up when I see his lack of time to talk with me . Not even time to show me the MRI images, arrogant and unpleasant personality. Sarah the secretary, not friendly at all. Sorry but no business if you don't care about your patients.
I had to torn meniscus, got surgery was happy with it at first had less pain but about a year later I have pain again. Get an X-Ray and there was so much cut out that its now close to bone on bone. I was a marathon runner before this. Now I am lucky if I can run a 5K without pain and swelling. I think they try and stay so busy that they don't take the time to see everyone's specific needs. A close family member sought out a 2nd opinion from Dr. Fox regarding the medical necessity of shoulder surgery recommended by another surgeon in a different clinic. Dr. Fox recommended a higher resolution MRI than the one obtained by the first doctor, because he could not see anything "torn" as previously opined by the other doctor. The insurer balked at authorizing the new MRI, but it went forward anyway. The high resolution MRI found nothing torn, and nothing surgical. Dr. Fox did an excellent job repairing my knee 14 months ago. I'm 61 and tore my medial meniscus doing an everyday mundane thing. It would catch and lock up while jogging and progressively got worse with time. He repaired it arthroscopically. He doesn't know this, but I went back to my office the same day to go through voice mails. Never took one pain pill, but did take the aspirin to prevent clotting. With his advice, I bought a stationary bike and have slowed down with jogging but still jog 3 times per week and spin 2 time... read more
