I live in Arizona and part time in Alabama. Dr. Birkenhauer is far superior than most of the doctors I've had in AZ. She is kind, patient and does a comprehensive medical exam. I would highly recommend her.
I have been using Dr. B. for over a year and they have taken good care of me and my wife.
As a patient of Dr. Birkenhauer's for over 12 years I never get to see her anymore. Nurse Practitioners handle all my office visits. Office help changes constantly. Information sent to Insurance to pay claims is incorrect. This used to be a wonderful caring practice towards patients and the office staff was reliable and friendly but no more . I can't believe she is still accepting new patients. The survey is hard to fill out because I never get to see Dr. B anymore.
Didn't seem to be interested in my health at all.
Been her patient for over 10 years. The quality of care has definitely declined. There is constant turnover in staff. Dr. B seems robotic and not the same warm, caring individual she was a few years back. I recently was in and told her of two issues I had. She dealt with only one, and I am still dealing with the other. I will be finding another doctor who listens better.
