I lost compression in my engine. It turned out that one of the spark plug threads in the cyclinder head was stripped. I pass JDs every day on my way home. I've read great reviews about them. It wasn't until today, though, that I decided to go there. They fixed the problem and changed all the plugs. We love this car and JD is our new mechanic. I highly recommend JD Auto to anyone who needs a excellent mechanic. Best of all, they prices are reasonable.
Called and they were able to get my car in and fixed by the end of the next day and it drives SO much better! And I saved $$$. All this on a short holiday week!!

They do great work and have great prices but the customer service skills aren’t that great. I was very disappointed in the way I was talked to this morning. After discussing what is now going on with my car I was brushed off and told to come back on another day because he has a very busy schedule. I guess my schedule and the fact that something was now wrong with my car that wasn’t wrong when I dropped it off didn’t matter. Hopefully the next experience will be phenomenal as the first time I came to them.

Everyone needs a shop like this one. Yes it was a drive for us, but well worth it. Two years we have "fought" an A/C problem. Made us an appointment in one day. Fixed in about an hour.....Smart man.
