We wanted to have our home siding redone and decided to go with them. On the start day the contractors did part of the house and asked us our opinion. The siding was great but the trim was not what we wanted. We went and called ************** and he stated that the trim that we wanted did not come in the size of the replacement trim which was not told to us when we talked to him before signing the contract. Full siding tear off and replacement with James Hardie Siding, plus all new gutters. It’s now been 9 months since they completed the job and I have yet to find defects. This firm replaced my roof (a tear off and re-roof). When they were done you couldn't tell they had been there, except for the new shingles on the roof. Every scrap of shingle and roofing felt was picked up and hauled off, and the Halloween decorations that they moved for safety were replaced.
The Hostetters were really easy to work with. In a very professional manner,they went out of their way to meet my needs. They made sure I was very satisfied with the work they did by having a walk-though before and after the job was done.
I drive a bus and kept seeing J D Hostetter signs where they were doing work. I talked to my husband about it because we were in need of siding. He told me to call and we could get an estimate but don't hold my breath because we didn't want another bill to pay. We were so surprised and the price and so we did it. Love the siding and we have had so many compliments on how nice our house looks. The crew was really good and friendly would call them again and would recommend them.
