On a freezy Sunday morning, my sister and I had the chance to get to Soul Kitchen. The menu was delicious, but the best dish indeed was friendship: a very warm welcome, kind and friendly staff, a smile on everyone's face. We seated next to a Jersey family from Red Bank and we had the opportunity to share some stories of our life...Alberto, Danna and David after lunch drove us to some awesome places nearby and we really brought back a "hopeful" and feel-at-home experience. Second time there last weekend and as amazed as the first time! Food is more than excellent, concept is soooo cool! And it is for a good cause on top of it! It is now a tradition: every time we go to New York City, we either start our trip at the Soul Kitchen or it is our last stop before we get back home in Montreal! Already planning the next visit!!!!
