Failed to show up even though I took off from work. When I messaged to asked if he was still coming ... no response. Followed up a week later to see if he was available or if he knew of anyone.... he again read my message and still did not respond. Bad business. I’m a single mother and a widow to a soldier that lost his life early in Iraq. Just needed someone to fix my washer so I wouldn’t have to keep running to the laundry mat.
he was nice and did a good job. BUT, HE NEVER PROVIDED AN INVOICE TO FILE A CLAIM WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND HAS HELD IT UP FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS. NOT APPRECIATED AT ALL. WOULD NEVER RESPOND TO PHONE CALLS NOR TEXT MESSAGES. SO I CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM ANYMORE. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU JAMES? I PAID YOU IN FULL IN GOOD FAITH AND YOU LEFT ME HIGH AND DRY. I RATE YOU AS 0!!
James is an excellent choice for all your appliance repairs - stove, refrigerator, microwave, washer and dryer. I have never been disappointed in his courteous and complete services.
RecommendedCalled James to check my dryer. It was drying but making a noise like it was getting ready to take flight. Came when promised and had it fixed in less than an hour and only cost us $90. I highly recommend him.
Contacted James about my refrigerator that wasn’t working. Despite it being the day before Thanksgiving, James’ response was quick and was here within the hour to diagnose and fix the problem. The refrigerator works great now and my deserts are cool this Thanksgiving. Very satisfied customer
TWO MONTHS - that's how long it's been since James with JB Appliance Repair made an initial visit on December 11, 2018 to give me a cost estimate to fix my stove, with an access fee of $60. James came out to my home twice - as recently as January 21st - both times with the WRONG parts. I have not called for a status because my prior calls were NEVER returned. I called about a rental property appliance, a technician was out within 24 hours, repairs done! Invoice paid over the phone. Wonderful service especially since we were out of the state and had few options.

I called about my Samsung dryer that wasn’t spinning. James came out the same day to run diagnostics. He was prompt (even called to ask if he could come early). He advised me of the parts needed to fix the dryer and and gave me a price quote. He was courteous and very fast. He was even able to get my dryer fixed the same day! (Which was amazing because we had mounds of laundry to do after returning from a trip). I would highly recommend JB Appliance Repair to anyone needing service.
