My husband was seen 3 Xs in 1 mo. and ea. time was told he had a virus and given antibiotics, a chest x-ray (initially showed nothing), nasal sprays, and cough meds, nothing more was done for him. 2 days after his last visit, when he was told he had pneumonia and told to cont the meds, he ended up in the hospital, where, a team of 7 doctors at MGH discovered what was wrong; it was not a virus, but a life-threatening rare disease, for which you die if you do no receive treatment. Very unhappy.
Always treats you as if you are his priority. Explains all diagnosis in plain english. Makes patient feel very comfortable. Available on patient site which is a big plus. My wife feels the same. It is worth driving to Brookline from Winthrop to see Dr. Carr
