We have been serving the greater Chicagoland area since 1976. Specializing in Italian Beef, we use a third generation Italian Beef recipe. The original restaurant opened on April 23rd, 1976 on the corner of Narragansett and Montrose. The second location opened on August 20th, 1982. The most recent one being North Avenue which opened its doors on March 1st 2007. Grew up on Northwest side. Have been going to NW side location since it was a small stand. This Hipster location has the same great food.
Good food,but lazy,not very friendly service..I had to put down my juicy combo,and with greasy hands go up and get my own change because they didn't have change for a $100 in the register..One of the 4 guys working behind the counter couldn't bring it to me?
Horrible beef. I will never go back again. Just bad food!
