Family owned recipes for over 50 years! Been going here at least 40 of those years and you know it’s huge and ask the family person who is making the beef,or combo for you exactly how you want it and they make it that way. I'm from Oklahoma. My husband and my in laws have always bragged so much on Italian beef and Jay's. Well, this passed weekend we had to go to Chicago. For lunch they took me to Jay's. That was the best meat I've ever had in my life. It was at that moment when I realized how much I've been ripped off when it comes to meat in Oklahoma. The amount you get and the flavoring is so amazing. I would drive out there anyway just to get another sandwich
Went today for the 1st time after suggested by a co-worker. It’s affordable and the portions are HUGE. I’m used to Beef Stands being skimpy with their beef, NOT this place. I couldn’t finish all of it.
This is by far the BEST Italian Beef spot in Chicago! I’ve been eating Jay’s for over 20 years! It’s always DELICIOUS!!
