I have been under Dr. Landry’s care for about 5 years now and I will forever be grateful that our paths crossed. She has so much passion for the work that she does, compassion for her patients and endless amounts of knowledge. All of which is evident in her book “Healing Emotional Trauma”. This book is very powerful, healing and practical. It’s one of those books you want to keep around and revisit once in a while. Thank you Dr. Landry for sharing your wisdom!
A definite 5 star rating is well deserved for Dr.Landry’s deeply empathetic work, “Healing Emotional Trauma”. Additionally, it’s clear from her bio that her direct experience guided the topics and content in such a common sense approach. An easy read, mostly because I enjoyed how each topic was approached with a respectful kindness without the need to check my dictionary to unpack what I call “big-word-ology”. Jayan Landry is the best therapist!! If you are looking for someone who is caring and treats you as the individual person you are , she's the one for you. She does a great job helping you work through your problems in a comfortable setting. Some therapists put it back to you with the typical questions such as "how do you feel about that?" , Dr. Landry helps you break it down and work through it. That's why I gave her 5 stars. Her therapy is not the textbook kind, it's a personal touch and she's a great person!
Dr. Landry’s personal story and journey is powerful. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with finding ways to get through life’s most challenging times. This book highlights those techniques. I highly recommend it, you will be inspired.
Dr. Landry's desire to truly help the reader is evident through her openness and humility. She confidently shares her wisdom in ways that make one feel they're hearing from a very dear, experienced and knowledgeable friend.
