This is something that happened with this provider over 2 years ago and it still really bothers me. I went in for increased joint pain and was told I was “manifesting my pain”. Been established with UCI and an integrative medicine doctor ever since and have received the care I needed. These doctors addressed my pain unlike Dr. Philipose. I would never see or recommend this provider again.
Be very careful dealing with this doctor, she tried to get me to take cancer medication before looking into my diet and other issues. She tried to scare me into take methatrexate. She was rude in my appointment with her. If you want to die and become more sick see her. If you want to live look elsewhere.
Very thorough with good bedside manner which made the experience deceiving. I had an extremely rare disease, which was omitted because it wasn’t what she thought it was and in turn she stuck to her guns, she stayed in the only lane she knew. She really wanted to put me on Humira which advertisements were plastered all over the wall. She said I’d be on this for the rest of my life. I have never been to a worse doctor or medical practice with such poor communication and empathy as I had with Providence Rheumatology. I saw Dr. Philipose in 2022 and she told me nothing was wrong, treatable and to just live with my symptoms. Well my symptoms progressed and it was obvious I was no longer the same person, unable to walk, talk or process information.
