Don’t walk Run.Had bunion surgery that wasn’t wanted but was told I needed it when I injured the bottom of my foot from landing on it wrong. A year later and I still can’t walk on it without a shoe and my foot is mangled since he broke a bone and snapped a tendon and instead of 1 plate and 4 screws I ended up with 4 plates 16 screws and a long titanium screws across the top of my foot that is now bent. after 4 months of pain I saw weingarten , he was able to find the problem where my dr back in michigan did not , had surgery for a 9 inch tear in a tendon , the surgery went great and I am much better, He is a dr that cares about you, He is a no bs dr , He will tell you what it is you need to do, and if you do what he tells you you will get better, He will help you ,he has my trust.

I used Dr. Weingarten as a second opinion Doctor for a leg injury. After a few x-rays in the office, Dr. Weingarten found a bone callous that was causing me a lot of pain when walking. After surgery, that pain was gone. I highly recommend him for WorkMen's Compensation claims and any/other medical claim..... I found him to be very efficient, friendly and thorough in his evaluation of my condition.

On vacation, he returned a call on Sunday, for my daughter’s foot injury! He also, removed a ingrown toenail for me, and it regrew so well, I went back the next year and had the other one removed! I did not want them chemically treated and it was a great success! Also, explaining how to properly care for my nails and proper trimming to prevent them! The first time I went they didn’t have me down doctor answered phone and forgot to tell his staff. Second visit someone else’s patient info in my chart it was like a Alice and wonderland visit. Third time they didn’t even have my chart was supposed to order a foot splint and never did. Honestly I could doctor myself better. Literally unbelievable. Likelihood of recommendation is a zero.

After consulting with 2 surgeons in the Phila. area, I decided to wait for our return to Jupiter so that Dr. Weingarten could perform surgery on my right foot. It is just 2 weeks after surgery, and I am very pleased with both the way he explained the procedure and the results. I have had no negative effects, and throughout the experience Dr. W. has shown great empathy and concern for my well being. I have just returned to my lengthy morning walks WITHOUT PAIN.

Dr. Weingarten is reasonable, but his staff is rude and unhelpful. I was scolded for not scheduling the surgery at the time of the consultation (I needed to schedule time off) and told I'd have to drive an hour each way to fill out paperwork. I asked "Can you mail it?" "No" No explanation, no flexibility - "our way or no way." Also, be prepared to pay a fee to schedule your surgery. This place has the feeling of a medical mill. I've moved on - perhaps you should start somewhere else.
