Dr. Hughes is the best! He has treated me and three of my siblings and each of us has a perfect smile now. He is on top of any problems even though I had my braces taken off seven years ago. I get compliments on how straight my teeth are frequently and one person even said, "That must be a Dr. Hughes smile!" I would highly recommend Dr. Hughes and his team for any sort of orthodontic work!

I am 55 and had needed braces for many years. Dr. Hughes and his staff did a great job and my teeth look great. I do not have any dental insurance, so paid the full cost. I don't know if Dr. Hughes is more or less expensive than any other orthodontist; I didn't price any others. My dentist recommended Dr. Hughes and I trust my dentist.
He did my braces and the results are amazing. There was no pain what so ever. He is so nice to everyone!
He took alot of care to individualize treatment for each of my kids. He was expensive and was not "in network" for our insurance. However, I believe the extra money spent was well worth it.
Jay Hughes is the best orthodontist in the Indianapolis area, hands on. You get what you pay for. He is not the cheapest, but not the most expensive, either. He works well with oral surgeons and everyone comments on how great our daughters' teeth look. He is exceptional in every way.
I would absolutely recommend Dr. Hughes to anyone who needs braces. I think he does great work and has exceptional chair-side manner. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful.

Dr. Hughes has an air of gentleness that puts his patients and their parents at ease. My daughter's smile is beautiful and he did it without pulling any teeth (my braces, in the dark ages, required pulling teeth). His office staff is very friendly and he has great magazines for parents who are waiting. Orthodontia is expensive but he made a payment plan that worked for us.
