RecommendedI checked my local shops within 20 miles or so and ended up at Jax, the closest. Go figure. Each employee who has helped me or just shot the breeze has been nice and knowledgeable. I ended up with a Trek as my first "good" bike because they were reasonable on price and continue to be helpful. Unfortunately, I like to stop in every so often and look at the more expensive bikes. They didn't pressure me, just offered suggestions and help. I hope they continue to be a mainstay.

RecommendedBrought my bike 🚲 in this week for annual overhaul. Service center is always friendly and helpful. Picked up bike today and it was like new. Only negative: they don’t take AMEX. Surprised that a retailer with high average invoices wouldn’t accept AMEX. I get that you might save some money 💴 on merchant fees, but customers should have AMEX option. Oh well...I am over it. Regardless, I am very pleased to recommend Jax’s Bicycles to anyone in the market for a new bike. They have an amazing inventory of options!&
Dwindling inventory. Don’t give them your email- if you do and you answer their survey, unfavorably in my case, you’ll get an unsolicited phone call from the store. I don’t want to go round and round about your service and inventory. I did Jax a solid and gave feedback. That should have been the end of the line.
