Bikes Jax is a local shop with knowledgeable sales/repair service personnel to help you find an item and/or fix what you need repaired. Had a flat and needed the rim checked for damage but they were honest and advised it was ok and all it needed was a new tube. Trustworthy too.
Reliable Repair Jax Bicycles offers a great selection of bikes to purchase. The store also has a nice selection of other necessary equipment. I have had them perform repair and tune-ups on my bike and have been very happy with the service.
Bike Part I was looking for a particular part for my bike, but I could not find it. I went to almost every bike shop in HB and I could not find it. I went to this location and they did not have it either, but the owner helped me find it and sent me to the location. I continually stop by this shop because they have some nice little gadgets for my bike and my kids bike. Top of the line store.
Knowledge staff I've bought bikes on two occasions here and have been satisfied. The last time I bought a bike but my daughter wanted it in another color. Jax let us take the same bike of another color home so we could use it on a family vacation and then exchanged it when the desired color bicycle came in on our order. How many stores would do that? I had 2 flat tires and being new to the beach cruiser riding I had no idea I had until a nice guy pointed it out. Referred me to Jax and Chris took very good care of me! I also bought a helmet! Very important!!

They have an awesome collection of aluminum bicycles to choose from at reasonable prices. You get what you pay for.
Brought my bike 🚲 in this week for annual overhaul. Service center is always friendly and helpful. Picked up bike today and it was like new. Only negative: they don’t take AMEX. Surprised that a retailer with high average invoices wouldn’t accept AMEX. I get that you might save some money 💴 on merchant fees, but customers should have AMEX option. Oh well...I am over it. Regardless, I am very pleased to recommend Jax’s Bicycles to anyone in the market for a new bike. They have an amazing inventory of options!&
