User review by balgus – The food was pretty good but there are restaurants who serve better food for the same price. The meat for the filet mignon kabob that I ordered was moist and juicy but the rice was somewhat dry. Parking is a little difficult but manageable.
I would be a repeat customer – The ambiance was decent, but we thought the food was above average and rather good. The kabobs were moist, tender, and flavorful. The appetizers we got were the 'fried rice' with a pomegranate on top and eggplant puree with fresh onions on the side. The baklava was a bit sweet though. Service was mediocre, they could be a bit better considering the ambiance and price...ie making us box our own leftovers and being a bit slow and irregular with the water

Don't get delivery – Javan has decent food, but with all the fine Persian restaurants in the area, why settle? A recent food delivery experience prompted this review. I was called back 3 times by the restaurant to verify my address, then 20 minutes later told that there would be a $4 delivery charge (3 mile limit for free). The best Iranian restaurant in town – After visting many in West Los Angeles, I have found this restaurant to be consistant. Most serve Kabab with dried meat but this restaurant has it juicy.
