I’ve been a patient with Java for 5+ years now and they’re great. Nicole is my NP and takes a whole body approach to my needs. They have newer office staff so the admin issues have mostly been worked out. I LOVE the tele-health appointments. No need to drive to the valley. FWIW- I’m a cash patient because it’s easier than dealing with my insurance and I won’t risk any medication denials due to pre-auth nonsense. I’ve recommended Java to many people and I plan to keep seeing Nicole at Java for as long as they’re in practice.
Shant is a phenomenal psychiatrist who has seen me for years.
Dr. Engelberg is knowledgeable, nonjudgemental, and compassionate. She is kind and patient and will gift you with powerfully insightful gems to reflect on. While under her care, I was pregnant for the first time and my father suddenly passed away; to say my circumstances were challenging would be an understatement. Her style of approach felt validating, empathetic, and calming.
Who ever is handling the appointments over the phone is disgustingly rude. My NP Nicole is great, though.
