RecommendedThis past Saturday morning I had to make a six hour drive back to St. Louis. At 6:45 am I picked up some Java John's coffee and a delicious cranberry walnut scone. Special thanks to Helen Weis and Anita Weis!
I worked on a campaign in NE Iowa and basically lived out of Java John's for five or six months. I ate breakfast and lunch there, took meetings over endless cups of coffee, and caught up on paperwork. it's a special place with great coffee and wonderful baked goods. I got to know the wonderfully friendly, quirky staff and they treated me like family. My work has taken me all around the country and there just aren't enough places like this. Highly recommend.

The meatballs today were great!! And the coleslaw salad w/sliced brussel sprouts was fabulous!
THE best Iced Mocha (decaf for me) Raspberry Coffee!
went to get a drip coffee and got a mouthful of grounds. went back again and got a mouthful of grounds. went again today for a mocha and it tasted like a cigarette butt milkshake, I could not finish it and it was worse than bong water. I will not be coming back
