Hands down the most unprofessional psychiatrist I’ve ever had. Once you decide to stop working with him and to seek alternative treatment, he will literally ignore your messages and your requests for medication refills of the medication he’d prescribed while you look for alternative care. Avoid at all costs.
One should always take a negative review of a psychiatrist with a grain of salt… still, dr kumar was one of the more unusually poor psychiatrists I’ve been treated by so I felt compelled to share my experience. Strange, deadpan, robotic, aloof bedside manner… like talking to someone sleep deprived and checked out who is just eager to write a prescription and move on. Dr Kumar is a next level Psychiatrist. He is very attentive and compassionate to my symptoms. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and always answers my questions and concerns in full detail. I’ve never had a psychiatrist so invested in my mental health. I feel safe. I highly recommend him
I strongly recommend Dr. Kumar. He spent the time needed and I felt he really listened to me to help me with my needs. His professionalism and empathy is exemplary as well. Finally he goes above and beyond, it is so reassuring that when you are going through a crisis that there is someone who is in your corner and trying to work to find the best solution. I’m so lucky I found him and can say that I am doing so much better with his guidance.
