Love Jason's particularly when the outdoor area is open. Unfortunately, they close a bit early - the outdoor music (Fri, Sat, Sun) stops between 9:00-9:30pm and the whole place closes at 10:00pm. I get that Jason's doesn't want to become a "late-night spot" but I would encourage them to stay open a bit later when there are dozens of customers still there.
Fast friendly service. We had a blue cheese burger, French onion soup, and grilled artichoke. The kids had butter noodles, a grilled cheese, and chicken strips. Everything was really good. Kids food and our app came out quickly as requested. Our food was timed perfectly. My only complaint was we ordered our burger medium and it came out well done, and there wasn't enough blue cheese sauce on the burger making the burger a little in the dry side. Great place to have lunch or dinner along with amazing views of Lake Tahoe. The food was good and we enjoyed our visit. Our son is gluten free and the waitress did not seem to be knowledgeable about their gluten free options. My wife asked her at one point if she could double check on whether their sweet potato fries were gluten free and she responded with "I'm pretty sure they aren't". Not exactly what you want to hear, but overall we were very happy with our visit.
Cute little place that must have a grueling wait on the weekends. Fantastic view of Lake Tahoe. Weather is warming up, so we sat outside, which I highly recommend. Food is fairly priced considering the view but perhaps not a spectacular meal for the memories. Been here a couples now and I am never disappointed. The food here is actually good. On my most recent visit (yesterday) the hubby and I shared the hot wings and Blacken Salmon sandwich. The chicken wings were lightly crispy with a good amount of buffalo sauce coated. Salmon burger was good and ask for extra sriracha mayo (yum). Delicious, thin, crispy French fries (I love fries). This place is really about the location and views. Food was typical bar and grill, good and filling but nothing special. Having the outside bar available while you waited for your table is a great idea and was getting a lot of use. We left full and happy, just not impressed. We'd go back again if we are ever in town again.
Very cool spot in North Shore! They had a decent wine selection and their salmon was extremely tender (not dry like most) & had a great sauce. Great value for their prices! 30% off coupon through yelp!
Winter get away weekend and this place came recommended by our snow mobile guide. I'm sure its beautiful in the summer but today we were seated in a booth toward the back so no view for us. Enormous portions, fresh food, amazing salad bar. We are visiting for the week from Santa Cruz, CA and chose this based off of the reviews. It did not disappoint. We'll likely be back for more! Amber was our server and she was amazingly attentive, sweet, and accommodating.
