Nine years ago I broke my patella in a car accident .The DR told me that it was so ragged that he had to put a plate in . Now I am wondering what kind of plate he put in . I have not had any problems all this time until now . They x rayed my knee and told me that there is no plate . I am wondering how this is possible , Did he use the material that dissolves over time and doesn't show up in an x ray??
