Dr Lowenstein was blunt, disrespectful, and cruel in communicating. He was non-caring, offered a narrow scope of information, presented no alternatives, and extinguished any optomism my mother had. He said he didn't know anything about physical therapy, occupational therapy, pain management and therapies shown to reduce pain, but said." That's above my pay grade" and "You could be paralyzed at any moment, I can't do anything, but you can't live in a bubble."
Dr Lowenstein is an amazing deformity surgeon I would recommend him to everyone. He is very skilled, knowledgeable, and kind.
Dr. Lowenstein is a very caring doctor and excellent surgeon. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends!
I’ve had back problems for over 40 years. It got to the point where I could hardly walk or sit. I had surgery in August of 2017 - 3 laminectomies at the L4, L5 and S1 levels. Three weeks after surgery I was completely pain free after being in pain for 35 years. Everytime I met with Dr. Lowenstein or his PA Jamie, they were responsive and sincere. Phone calls to the office were returned promptly.. He has an excellent bedside manner and I never felt rushed during appointments.

From the front desk, to the girls in the exam room and the X-ray tech I couldn't have asked for a more professional and compassionate experience! Dr. Lowenstein was beyond exceptional, he spent time explaining my diagnoses with me and going over my options, he was patient with my many questions and didn't once make me feel rushed. You really have a great team!
Dr. Lowenstein and his PA Jaimie are wonderful. Not only were they able to correct my sons Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis. With each visit they would talk to him and address his questions and concerns which made him feel good. Even after the surgery the follow up with the staff was phenomenal. If I could post a before and after picture I would. My son posted on his instagram about a week after his surgery a photo and a heartfelt thank you to his doctors for helping him achieve his goal.
Thank you to Dr. Lowenstein and his team for taking such food care of me after a car accident last year. I am a Canadian citizen and having urgent back surgery, out of country was rather intimidating. Dr. Lowenstein made me feel safe and the surgery was a success. All my gratitude is sent your way, in buckets. Denise Davies
