I was referred to Dr. Lowenstein by another, very talented surgeon. At the time I was so disabled and in such severe pain that walking was almost impossible. Being a breast cancer patient with extensive bone metastasis my expectation for any improvement was low. I have been a patient with Dr Lowensten for over 2 years. I am 64 years old and suffered from scoliosis, severe curvature of my spine, degeneration of my discs and sciatica to the point I could not walk without severe pain. After several doctors told me they could not help me I found Dr Lowensten. Dr Lowensten corrected my whole spine with several surgeries. I have a rod with cages and no longer suffer in pain. Dr Lowensten gave me back my life and I am enjoying living again.
I had a bad case of scoliosis that caused constant pain and discomfort. Dr. Lowenstein fixed it bringing by back into better alignment which has been amazing! I feel and look so much better. It was a great experience by him and his entire team.
Dr. Lowenstein is truly a life saver! I’ve had over a dozen lumbar spinal surgeries due to an infectious process. Over the years, I’ve become dependent on crutches and an AFO brace to ambulante. Not to mention, I was in constant pain. While many surgeons had given up on me, Dr. Lowenstein did not! Excellent! Dr Lowenstein and his staff are outstanding! Dr takes his time explaining everything and answers all your questions! He will suggest all options available to help your situation before recommending surgery ! You will not find a more compassionate group of Dr’s PA and office staff they truly are the Best! I was diagnosed with scoliosis in my early 20's but never had the severe pain to do anything about it. Fast forward to my early 60's and I couldn't ignore it any longer. Dr. Lowenstein came highly recommended and I can understand why. He immediately ordered the necessary tests to show me that my spine was now at a 69 degree curve and doing nothing was not an option. Dr. Lowenstein is an outstanding surgeon. He performed a spinal fusion to correct my severe scoliosis. He was patient and passionate regarding my concerns, and made this tough process so much easier with his skill and ability to effectively communicate. My recovery has been a success, and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Lowenstein. Also his PA Tonya Lugo, is a class act, I would not be where I am today regarding my recovery without her. Finally, his administrative staff Jessica, Nicole ( and others) complete a great team.
Dr. Lowenstein and all his staff are excellent. I had a revision fusion surgery on my neck done about 4 weeks ago and I knew within hours after my surgery that Dr. Lowenstein had done a amazing job! He is very professional and caring. Everyone in the office is extremely helpful. If you need a great surgeon definitely see Dr. Lowenstein. Thank-you to all the staff!!!
Crossing paths with Dr. Lowenstien was an absolutel blessing! Not only is he top shelf on every level, but his staff is also exceptional. Dr. Lowenstein’s high standards precede him as the hospital staff even know the level of care he demands for his patients. I wouldn’t consider going with any other doctor, no reason too!!
