Courteous My baby Chihuahua "SPIKE" is sick, but getting better at Jansen's. Went there today for an update, asked how my baby was doing. Got to visit him personally. Nothing but courtesy and compassion by the staff. Thank you and please save my "SPIKEY" I Love him.
Jansen Animal Hospital is unprofessional the place smells horrible. Examining rooms filthy: Huge pee stains on chairs. Staff laughing and mocking those who bring animals in...talking loudly about customers in full hearing of those waiting in examining rooms. Disrespect. A simple visit turns into a long, unnecessary exam to add a lot of cost to the visit...all sorts of tests added on to bump up the charges. Great Atmosphere I just took my two dogs to Jansen Animal Hospital because our vet retired. This place is very organized. The receptionist was very nice and professional. She called them babies. They are my babies. The vet that gave the shots was really nice too. I'll stick with them. Oh, the place was really clean and no urine odors either. Really great prices too. Thank you Jansen Animal Hospital, you have my vote!
Save your pet, don't go here! I am a 23 yr. old girl that moved here from Texas for school. I have almost lost my apt., my car, and have temporarily dropped out of school to pay for vet bills that were not even necessary. Dr. Jansen almost killed my dog by putting him on the wrong medications, telling me my dog was older than what he was, although he fixed my dog, treated him since he was 7 months, vaccinated him. Wonderful!!! I'm pretty surprised to read some of the bad reviews below. I have had nothing but the best experiences at Jansen's. I've been a client for many years. They have always been patient and go out of their way to answer all of my questions. I must admit that I tend to be very demanding and boy do I ask a lot of questions! World Class Service!!! The folks at Jansen Animal Hospital are courteous, respectful and extremely knowledgeable in the field that they practice. After taking my five year old pug (Daisy) to their offices, I've seen great improvements with her health and even further, I was given several treatment options to tailor a suitable life cycle plan.
Great animal hospital This is hands down the best animal hospital in the South Bay. The staff is not only friendly but very knowledgeable about all pets. They took great care of my dog when he was sick and eventually had to put down. I recommended them all my friends with pets and they love them! I will never forget how great they were with my dog.
Professional and courteous staff The staff are professionals. They saved our dog when other clinics and emergency rooms only wanted our money. We believe in Dr. Jansen and his staff and know that they are working professionals and experts in their field. We would recommend them to anyone in need of expert animal care. Only because there is no way to give negative stars... AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COSTS! Due to doctor and staff incompetence, our dog DIED. We had been lucky enough to get her in to see another vet, about 2 days before she passed, who began the correct treatment for her, so we hope she at least went comfortably. Despite numerous attempts, from my family as well as the other veterinarian, Jansen hospital refuses to release the dog's records.
