Visit was to interview new provider, ours retiring. Clearly disclosed by initial phone call & time new patient forms picked up. Office intake person was rude & did not have face mask covering her nose. When told, not apologetic, only snotty. Threw our forms on a desk & left. Nurse practioner, not PA was rude & confrontational as soon as she walked in knowing the nature of our visit. My wife and I both have Dr. Jay as our PC Physician and are very satisfied with him. Besides being very knowledgeable and professional, Dr. Jay actually cares about his patients and always has to the time really listen.
Dr. J has been my primary physician for about 14 years. He is not only a very good Doctor he also has kind and compassionate bedside manners. The best in my opinion.
Excellent doctor. He is bright, listens to my concerns, doesn’t prescribe medications unless truly needed and will refer you to a specialist if needed. I feel very fortunate to be one of his patients!
Dr. Jay treated my father in law when he fell in october. He failed to identify a possible TBI and did very little to improve his care. He has since fallen 5 times in 4 weeks and is increasingly declining in health. He can not speak at this time and we are having a very hard time dealing with this. His TBI went untreated.
recently had a severe piriformis syndrome episode with an inflamed sciatic nerve. My visit to an ER and with Dr Shaktawat PA provided no real relief. Then Dr Shaktawat himself wrote a Rx for a steroid that quickly helped with the pain.....thank you so much Dr Shaktawat
He's the first doctor we have had that listens to the patient. He's very compassionate and conservative in his treatment. He doesn't do a lot of unnecessary tests or procedures.
Dr. J is the finest doctor I have ever had the pleasure to be a patient of. He is warm, kind and exceptionally intelligent. There has never been a medical issue he has not had an immediate and complete knowledge of or appropriate treatment plan. My husband and I are blessed to be his patients.
We (my husband and I) have been seeing Dr. Jay since we moved to Florida in 2004. We value his opinion tremendously. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field (internal medicine) and does not hesitate to refer you to another specialized physician if needed. He sits down with you, listens to you, then evaluates in his mind your symptoms, etc., not only is he a great doctor but he is very kind and mild mannered. The office staff is also a plus and there is never any issues when you need an apt.
