I saw her for one visit, and during the intake session where I was giving medical history she snapped and had an outburst at me. I have never had a doctor scream at me before, she wanted me to go through a medical history timeline and I made the comment “ I’ve got a good memory and i’ll do my best” AND that is what set her off it was all very strange. It made me uncomfortable I don’t want to go to a doctor with so much hostility
Dr. Janik was so comoassionate, thorough and patient. She gave me hope again after other Drs told me how bad my endometriosis was and that I need to remove my ovaries. She said no, scheduled my surgery and preserved my reproductive organs while removing the endometriosis from my body. In 2007 I had surgery performed by an OB/GYN Dr to remove endometriosis/right ovary. I was told there was no hope for future pregnancies and needed a hysterectomy. In 2008 Dr Janik preformed a thorough, meticulous 10hr surgery. She followed-up with me for 1yr after surgery. In June 2009 I became pregnant with my second child after 11 years of infertility, My son is now 7 yrs old. I thank Dr Janik for her dedication to her patients. She’s an eminence in her specialty and I highly recommend her.
After 7 doctors over 5 years telling me that my period pain was "normal" or "scar tissue," - I was finally listened to. Dr. Janik performed laparoscopic surgery to diagnosis me with endometriosis and remove it from various parts of my body. I can't tell you enough how thankful and happy I am with my decision to work with Dr. Janik. She was professional and understanding - she is worth all the money and best part - she's brilliant and humble.

Dr Janik helped me with my stage 4 endometriosis and then Ivf. I had heard she was one of the best and now I agree 100%. I suffered with infertility for years. I am now 7 weeks pregnant today thanks to Dr Janik.
I know she is is a specialist but she has poor bedside manners. She does not take adequate time to listen to you. If you are going to pay out of pocket time our time and ask around or do more thorough reviews. After a miscarriage she never said sorry for your loss, just it happens so schedule another appt to discuss your options.
After 3 miscarriages she was recommended to us. We wasted a good 6-8 months at this clinic while I was tested using outdated testing (I later found out) and not monitored when given my protocol. If you are having problems conceiving you should not hesitate to get help asap. Please do not waste your time at this office where Janik is impossible to get in front of and her young interns who are as experienced with human interaction as Janik stumble their way through your appointments. Please don't.
Dr. Janik is the most passionate and professional doctor I have encountered in any specialty. She was able to diagnose my endometriosis properly after previous OBGYNS weren't even sure if I had it. She is THE endometriosis specialist in Milwaukee. She explained the options compassionately. I ultimately had a six hour surgery with her, during which time she meticulously removed all the endometriosis she found. She is very diligent to do her job well and she did what was best for me.
