My first visit with Dr. Townes went great. I'm happy to have her on my care team. She listens and went over what my PCP sent to her. I was referred by my PCP's nurse practitioner. Dr. Townes changed my thyroid meds and put me on metformin for pre-diabetes. That's more than what Dr. Goncalves did for me. I have been calling this office for the last 3 days .. no answer. Finally got the receptionist and she gave me misinformation. Now I'm calling back no answer. I used to be a patient and was very satisfied with Dr. Towhe's 3version ago. Now I'm trying to come back. Things are very different don't think I want to now.
I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Townes as my Endocrinologist for about 8 months. I had went to a different Endocrinologist with no results or any type of treatment whatsoever. But Dr. Townes listened to me and what my symptoms were and treated me with respect and based on my description of my problem, she ordered me some test ran to see why I am always so tired with chronic fatigue, muscle weakness, salt cravings and several other issues.
