DO NOT see her as your dermatologist! I went to see Dr. Schwartz because I have dark circles of skin pigmentation on my arms, legs, body. I was concerned about skin cancer. Dr. Schwartz was very dismissive. She did not perform a skin exam on my body. She looked at only my arms and when I asked her whether I should take off my top for her to look at my back. She said, ' if you like'. I was shocked. I expect doctors to perform a thorough exam during the first visit. My appt was 9 am. She did not see me until 9:30 am. and just ... read more
She is very good. I would go to no one else.
Dr. Schwartz has been my doctor for around 15 plus years, and I have never had a complaint about her skills, or the manner in which she interacted with patients. She is a very knowledgeable and warm, as well a doctor who really cares for her patients. I have recommended her to other people and they all thanked me after the visit.
Horrible- I had over an hour wait in the lobby. I was brought back to room and waited some more. She showed up and when she did she said to her staff as walking in... come get me in 10 min if I’m not out. I show her my mole that changed drastically in 24 hours. She removed it and gave me 3 stitches and left as the staff was knocking on the door. The nurse bandaged me up and said I was good to go. My entire family has used Dr. Schwarts for over 20 years. She is absolutly the most knowlageable Dermatologist. Any problem I have ever had she has treated quickly and efficiently. I had Melanoma in 2006. She was very cautious and torough. I would not trust my health or my family's health to anyone else. She is also very kind and reassuring.
I waited perhaps 10 minutes to see Dr. Schwartz today. She was extremely pleasant and upbeat, listened to my concerns and performed some minor surgery on the spot. She gave me her undivided attention, put me at ease about non-issues, made recommendations, but left the decisions to me. At no time did I feel rushed. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
I have been a patient for over 25 years. I have moved 350 miles away but travel back to be seen. I have a rare skin condition but Dr Swartz completely understands how to treat it.
I have been a patient of Dr Schwartz for ten years and find her to be a most gracious and competent care giver. She always has a kind word and plenty of time for you when visiting her facility. And, she has a quick wit and plenty of smiles to pass out. Those are free! Greg
In what other industry would it be ok to make a patient wait naked under a thin paper sheet for an hour without any updates? I thought I was going to be fine booking the first appointment of the day , but I ended up being left to freeze in the tiny room, stuck in the 80's. I eventually dressed, and walked out. Now I have to find another Dermatologist! The thing is, I actually liked the Doctor and staff, minus her missing a piece of my basal cell that started growing back a year later.
