I was referred to Marina OBGYN after a visit to Providence ER, where doctors found a 15 cm mass on one of my ovaries. I am in constant pain. When my bladder gets full or I eat too much, I become nauseous. If I move around too much or try to bend over, I vomit. It hurts just to wear jeans or even put on underwear. This is the worst office. I have to call multiple times before talking to reception. There are voicemails that are full and will not let em leave a message. Every time I ask to talk to someone, or if I can get a call back, I am bounced around to some other random person. The office manager is never in to take a call, and apparently gets weeks at a time to review messages and supposedly get back to people. I can't get through to get an appointment! I've been calling them for a week, every day, at different times and no one answers, just music for a 10-20 minutes and then the connection is off! My GP gave me a referral to this doctor and office but it seems they don't exist.

Dr Lipeles came to see me at Cedars-Sinai ER (across the street from his Ob-Gyn office in the Marina), when the ER doctors discovered a large cancerous mass behind my uterus. Not only was Dr Lipeles very calming and factual, he also offered to help cut any bureaucratic red tape I needed to get that mass out as soon as possible (all within the Cedars system.) Terrible! Very unprofessional and uncaring. Many appointments made over time many were unpleasant. For an OB/GYN I would give 0 stars if i could. My appointment was canceled once i arrived as she delivered a baby they didn’t think to call before I drove an hour to get to the appointment. If you’re looking for a safe and reliable doctor this is not the one.
