Horrible experience with Dr. Cannon. I had been diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2022. Dr. Cannon performed a surgery to remove my rectal cancer tumor in February 2023 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. I was told I would have an ileostomy but it would be temporary. I developed gastroparesis and I have been in and out of the hospital for almost the past year because of complications from the surgery. I lost my job because of all the PTO time I had to use up at work for my hospitalizations. ... read more

I have recommended Dr. Cannon to several patients after having a bowel resection in July 2014. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is an exceptional surgeon.
