They're a very corrupt company. I get things shut off when I only owe 120 dollars and seen others come in owing 600 dollars and not turned off anything.
I have never really had a problem with the company other than one time which they did not take my trash rather they tagged it and stated it had a roaches in it. I went out looked took photos and video. called the BPU talked to a supercisor he advised me he would come out and look. he did and.saw there was nothing in the bags or can and he took all my trash in the back of his pick up truck. since then I've had no issues. it does help if you have a problem call and talk to a supervisor.
Worst. Company. Ever. Not only have they monopolized utilities in the area, but they are quick to shut you off then drag their feet to turn you back on. Oh, and they're closed on weekends but will shut you off anyway knowing you can't go pay to restore services until Monday morning. Seriously wish there was a better company around because they are just awful.

Horrible customer service ... been an excellent customer never any issue and when you call for assistance, “there is nothing we can do.”
raising the monthly rate $6.50 for residents outside of the city is BS!
Great cost of service and good reliability! Staff works hard for the community to ensure good utility services at a low cost!
