He has ruined my golden years!! Six months after knee replacement, continuous day and night swelling and pain!! The implants click and clunk every time I bend my knee. Every step is painful. I was better off with my arthritic knee; it started to hurt only after I walked a mile. Stay away if you value your future.
Over a year since my knee replacement surgery and I'm still dealing with aches and pain and swelling. Not the results I expected or should have to deal with.
Total knee replacement after 40 years of scoping and injuries and arthritis. I walk like a normal person and without pain 3 weeks post op.
Terrific Bedside manner, very knowledgeable and extremely skilled. After going to a few doctors, I would not trust another orthopedist over Dr. Mamone! I am lucky to have such a doctor in Roseville.
Dr. Mamone is very professional. He explained my injury and treatment so that I thoroughly understood what to expect. The surgery went unbelievably well, including very little pain and a quick recovery. I felt like I was in good hands and have every confidence in him as a surgeon. I highly recommend him.
Awful experience. Was confident had torn my ACL, was referred to Mamone who told me my ACL was rock solid and that I had meniscus damage. Knee completely collapsed when I jumped puddle but he's sure it wasn't ACL. After initial surgery still in a daze tells me I don't have an ACL but wasn't prepared for that so stitched me up,no PT,limped 2 months. Post ACL surgery he tells me to get on bike after PT writes letter about issues. 3 yrs later after PT from UCD can jog again. Should have sued.
First of all, he made it clear that this is the patient's decision, thus there was no pressure to schedule. He drew a picture of my hip and explained how it could be repaired. He also went over my xray and took the time to explain again what the surgery would involve, materials that he would use and the approach he would take. It was clear that this man had a lot of experience, cared about his patients having a positive outcome and has earned the confidence of patients and staff alike. Marie
