Dr. Hood listened to and fixed my issue that took a while for my PC Dr to try and figure out. It was nice he had late hours! He’s a little more on the quiet side but, that just told me he was listening to what I was saying and figuring out what the issue was while I was talking! I highly recommend Dr. Hood and will be his patient for a long time!
Unfortunately, even though my overall experience was a positive one, for the fact that a scope was placed in my nasal/ throat at an added expense of $380, without informing me first that this would be am extra fee outside if my "exam" fee, I have to rate my overall experience poor and not recommended. When a physician performs anything on patient that could incur an added expense, it should absolutely be disclosed to the patient first. To place the burden of inquiry on the patient, in my opinion, is predatory.
Dr Barna did not explain any procedures before performing them. He recommended further testing after a 2 sentence explanation of what appeared to be the problem and recommended medication without discussing any other possible strategies. No bedside manner at all. Very disappointed.
The staff are friendly and so is Dr Greene. Unfortunately three years of not correctly diagnosing and handling my problem with my left ear and the situation getting worst, I left. Getting a second opinion. My medical situation was dire and required immediately surgery, still resulting in complete loss of hearing in that ear.
I am on a PPO network for my health insurance and his staff blatantly disregarded my plan and tried to charge me a co-pay after I explained my plan and showed them my insurance card and then charged me almost $400 for Dr. Greene to look into my nose for maybe 30 seconds which was coded as a surgery. Guard your wallet if you walk into this office!
Have been to him 4 or 5 times over the past decade. He always listens and gets right to work. Always addresses my issues and explains things well. Very nice guy, not a big talker but he is def. like one of those super smart guys. I guess some people want a jokester or real talkative guy. As far as ENT's he's mine for life, wouldn't consider another.
Dr. Barna was very professional and caring, his staff is rushed and incompetent. 1 month after a first time appointment there has been no follow up for orders placed for cpap or results of CT sinuses obtained at office. Multiple calls and staff is more interested in getting you off the call then problem solving. $420 and 1 month later, I am no better off than before my visit. Dr. Greene provides the best care, makes you feel at ease and has a genuine interest in taking care of his patients. He takes the time and really listens to your issues so he can diagnosis and treat effectively. The office staff are also very friendly and he always has availability according to your needs. I have referred many friends and family to Dr. Greene and they too have been very satisfied with his diagnosis and care!
Dr. Muller performed a tonsillectomy on me and up until just after the surgery he seemed to be friendly and professional, but when I complained of constant tightness and a feeling of something lodged in my throat, Dr. Muller become more distant and uncaring of my concerns.
