My mother went to see this Doctor and we agree with all the negative reviews. This Dr. needs to learn how to interact with patients. Did not answer any of my mothers questions, did not seem interested with her concerns. All his responses seemed to be one word answers. She left feeling like she has no solution to her problem. Very disappointed in her visit with this doctor. Not sure why he is in the business of caring for patients. Never again and certainly would not recommend Dr. Hood.
Not thorough, not friendly, felt like he didn't want to be bothered and anything I asked annoyed him. Didn't give any post-care instructions. Didn't explain anything he was going to do before doing it, during, or afterward. Wasn't kind, warm, and certainly didn't make me feel at ease trusting him to take care of me or anyone in my family. I will NEVER see him again. I wish I had read the reviews before agreeing to see him.
Im actually a little disappointed two years later . In 11-2023 I went to see Dr Hood for complaints of feeling like something was stuck in my throat . He did the scope or cam exam(larynscopy ) to look at larynx and tonsils .. I had a complaint of feeling one tonsil bigger than the other . After exam he said both tonsils the same size and he did send me to a ct of neck . Fast forward two years i now have a more continuous issue with globus sensation and when i looked back at records I saw he diagnosed me with LPR .. also ment... read more
Dr. Hood answered my questions thoroughly and provided excellent care.
I’ve been seeing Dr Green for over 2 years and he’s always been so compassionate and helpful. He’s always trying to make things as good s possible and does his best to understand and fix the issue. Highly recommend.
Had a somewhat confusing office visit with Dr. Hood. The office staff is very sweet and helpful. Upon Dr. Hood coming in for the exam, he performed some tests to assess my issue , like scoping the sinus , checking lymph nodes, etc. But when that was done, we didnt get a chance to discuss the rest of my symptoms, and we left the exam room with me not knowing we were finished. I saw Dr. Greene a few years ago for a throat issue that other doctors could not figure out. After seeing a dentist and 2 oral surgeons without a solution someone finally recommended I see Dr. Greene. Dr. Greene was able to diagnose my issue as a simple throat thrush caused by my inhaler after about 5 minutes of questions and inspecting my mouth. Quick and to the point. Very busy practice so no time to chat. Explained each procedure well, his findings, and took the time to explain. Not overly warm and fuzzy but did engage when asked what brought him to the field of otolaryngology. Seemed knowledgeable. Appointment was quite fast, short wait time.
Very poor communication with him. He did not listed to my complaint and never explained the cause of my problem to me. I have read what his prescriptions will will treat and they will not help me. Poor excuse for a doctor.
