I had an excellent experience with Dr. Hoot. He gave me a thorough evaluation, gave me good advise, and I left feeling I had the answers I need. I was taken back immediately for my appointment, and was in and out in a timely manner. I recommend Dr. Hood!
Went in to address tinnitus issues. He was professional and checked my ENT and then wanted to set me up for a sleep study! Explained again why I was there and he wanted me to do a hearing test which I was told was part of the apt. Trying to do so they said I had to go back because it was NOT setup. Went back next day, they tried to double-bill me. After test I was advised DR would call for followup and to reschedule. Nothing. 2 weeks and I called office. Asked to speak with DR. Does not listen to you. Is very rushed and acts like he can’t be bothered. Needs a class on bedside manners. Never again.
I’ve had a left swollen tonsil and ear ache and after lots of google which I shouldn’t do , I was soooo nervous and was afraid of the worse . I had taken antibiotics and still swollen so that’s why I was scared . Dr Hood was professional , and got straight to business and did the necessary exams and placed all my fears at ease . I feel the negative comments were maybe because he isn’t a talker outside of what he’s there for , and seems serious but that’s what I need with my busy schedule I needed answers fast and that’s it .... read more
I agree with the other negative reviews here that Dr Hood will rush you and not listen to you. He will also order unnecessary procedures that are an out-of-pocket expense. The lack of communication and the billing issues I had with this office is why I will not return. He needs to work on his bedside manners I find work elsewhere.
My appointment with Dr.Hood went very well. Glad I found him! He is on the quiet side but he listened and his diagnosis was right on. I give him a solid 5+.
This man has no compassion, no ability to explain things to regular people, and is in a perpetual rush. He makes you feel very small, like you don’t matter. You’ll walk out of there feeling worse off than when you walked in. He needs to find another profession so he can stop making good people feel awful.
I went years with major hearing loss due to a Cholesteatoma. Dr. Greene was able to completely restore my hearing with a new prosthetic hearing bone. Amazing stuff honestly. Scheduling is a bit of a pain but I assume it's due to his skill and abilities.
