The character limit is too low to accurately capture how disempowering, hurtful, and overall disappointing working with Dr. Ridgway turned out to be. I naively misinterpreted his ego for competence and ignored my gut feeling I had picked the wrong doctor. After a revision with a much kinder doctor with a skilled eye, I can finally move on from this process. Paying a second time for this procedure was expensive, but the emotional and physical cost of not moving on from this experience was higher.
Dr. Ridgway has an outstanding team and an amazing facility. I was very nervous about the entire process, but Dr. rRdgway and his team always put me at ease and were there EVERY step of the way. I could not be happier and highly recommend this gifted surgeon.
Dr. Ridgeway is one of the most caring, professional and personable doctors I have ever met. He is exceptionally detailed and it shows in the quality of his work. I interviewed so many doctors until one of my friends recommended him - and she was absolutely right! I am 60 years old. After researching I chose Dr. Ridgway for a neck lift, jowl liposuction & CO2 laser resurfacing. Office staff was friendly but undertrained and inexperienced. Ridgway is condescending and belittling, don't confuse the narcissism for perfectionism, as I did. My surgery went 'as planned' and I followed after care instructions to the letter. DON’T GO HERE. Dr. Ridgeway makes me feel so uneasy it's actually insane that I ended up getting my chin augmentation done by him. He will talk forever, interrupt you, not let you speak, brag about himself incessantly, name drop important connections he has, tell you his life story...and at the end of the day he will have talked so much about everything BUT whatever you wanted to focus on in the first place, you will leave so dazed and confused that you might just agree to anything. I had been going to Dr Ridgway for years for injectables and we had built a rapport, until recently he started exhibiting strange hot-cold behaviors, often late to appointments, one time I waited nearly 2 hours in his office with a very aggressive attitude. I have been thinking about lower face revision and blepharoplasty for seven years and consulted with multiple surgeons. Nothing felt right until I met Dr. ridgway.
