I absolutely love him and hate that he retired! My life has be so difficult since his retirement!!!
He is so caring and such an amazing pediatrician. Love him so much!
Since moving locations, the service at the office is TERRIBLE. The past 2 times that I've called to schedule an appointment for my 14 month old son who was very sick, and needed to be seen that day, they told me to go to an urgent care or call back the next day. I called as soon as the office opened. After leaving a voicemail to ask for medical advice, my call was unreturned. I asked if my son could see the offiice's other doctor since Swails was unavailable, and I was told they don't do that.
I didn't even get past making my first appointment (new parent consultation) because the woman on the phone was so rude, rushed and uninformed, all of this after I waited on hold for 4 minutes. I guess they have plenty of patients and do not need new ones. I have no idea about the quality of doctors but if their support staff is this lack luster I can't imagine even the best doctor being able to run a quality practice.
Dr. Swails gives thorough explanations and is great with kids. He listens to my concerns and explains the full picture. His partner, Dr. Murthy is also good, so even when Swails is unavailable I feel good about the care we receive. The staff is not horrible, but they are less formal than some offices. I never feel rushed at this office, but the waiting time is hit or miss.
Dr. Swails provides great and thorough explanations. He made me and my husband very comfortable, however, his office staff is horrible.
